Jennifer Bordes is the owner of JBD Hairstyling, Inc. and a passionate natural hairstylist dedicated to helping clients care for and style their hair with confidence.

Jennifer’s love for hair began at just 10 years old, when she taught herself the basics of cornrowing. What started as a practical need quickly became a true passion. With four sisters, she had plenty of opportunities to practice her braiding skills and extension techniques, turning everyday moments into the start of her journey as a stylist.

She later studied cosmetology professionally at ARROJO Cosmetology in Tribeca and went on to earn her New York State cosmetology license. Today, Jennifer is a skilled natural hair specialist with experience in hair color, protective styling, creative styling, and hair cutting.

When Jennifer is not in the salon, she enjoys sewing, spending time with close friends and family, watching Netflix, serving at her local church, and learning how to cook new dishes.

Working behind the chair has been a long-time dream, and Jennifer continues to grow in her profession through ongoing education and hands-on experience. She is passionate about staying current in the beauty industry and about educating her clients on how to care for their natural hair between appointments.
